Sweden’s Answer To Missy Elliot
I really, really like the new MIKE SNOW track. Its called ‘Black and Blue’ and has a real big sound, some nice melancholy courtesy of some minor chord progressions and then at times an ace Prince-tastic vocal. Yeah great pop song.
CHICKEN LEGS WEAVER are apparently British even though they sound like they should be from a particularly raucous part of Mississippi that’s traditionally into Blues but has just got into Punk. Hands up to not having a clue when it comes to Punk Rock / Blues type stuff but I know the most important thing… I like ‘Sweet Cleaner’ loads.
Have you ever heard of an artist called MAPEI? I hadn’t either but I most certainly have now, Sweden’s answer to Missy Elliot check out the slow, drawn out groove and beats on ‘LEADER OF THE PACK’. Sick.
