CLEMENT MARFO & THE FRONTLINE are a new band to me brought into my life by XFM’s John Kennedy (I’ve uttered that phrase a lot over the last 4 years). They have a real big in your face sound fusing the energies of guitar fuelled tuneage and anger inspired HipHop into a truly potent musical mix. ‘Champion‘ rocks, if that’s not a contradiction…
You know I love a bit of funk so little surprise that I’m excited bout the prospect of new JAMIROQUAI, but is it/ will it be, any good? Early indicators from ‘White Knuckle Ride’ are good.
Love or hate the man your gut can but bounce to his beats and rhymes, KANYE WEST is well on the way to LEGEND status as far as I am concerned. The vocal decoder is the garbage bin and once again he’s nailing it on ‘Monster’. Big, big tune.
