FANG ISLAND, OLIVER DOLLAR + JAN DRIVER PLUS TICKLER TEA & MAGIC FUZZ

FANG ISLAND’s ‘Patterns On A Wall’ is gloriously ridiculous. If Guitar Hero let you write songs and whilst you were taking advantage of said feature a male voice choir gatecrashed your living room, that’s the vibe we’re talking about here (nice specific, relatable analogy there I like to think). Big fun song, kinda like the Darkness when they were good, but not as naff.

Keeping things fun and bouncy new House track ‘Down’ by OLIVER DOLLAR + JAN DRIVER is the track that makes your ears prick up at the bar, bov off the drink you were after and leg it to the dancefloor. Top notch bouncy electronic music, Boing Boing House ya could call it.

They describe themselves as ‘Inter Galactic low slung space funk’ and who are you or I to argue with that on-the-money description? If you like your beats Intergalatic then check out TICKLER TEA & MAGIC FUZZ. ‘The Shakedown’ is the lowest slung groove this side of Pluto.
