FOREIGN OFFICE, MARK RONSON (FT BOY GEORGE) AND FLASHGUNS

FOREIGN OFFICE’s ‘On Repeat’ is a great song. New band to me I like the clean, funk-driven staccato vibe of this track A LOT. A Franz Ferdinand of the… what ever this decade is going to be called.

MARK RONSON’s Boy George track stands out a mile for me amongst his new album, and remember I was more than partial to first single ‘Bang x3’. Looks like others agree as its getting a release now, check the link below showcasing how BG’s evolving into a proper full-on soul singer. Sometimes amongst the drugs, rent boys and street sweeping we forget what a talent BG was and still is.

Some big remixes of ‘Somebody To Love Me’ coming out now too.

I’ve had the pleasure of catching FLASHGUNS live, they are really good, particularly the singer whose vocals are awesome, more than a hint of James Dead Bradfield which for my ears can only ever be a great thing. I have been struggling to pick my fav track though, and still am, if forced I’d say ‘Bells At Midnight’.
