I’ve Fallen In Love With Jack Penate

There is no point trying to deny it, it looks like I’ve fallen head over heals for JACK PENATE. As if Tonight’s Today was not big enough his new track looks like it might well be just as large (and is definitely very different from his original musical direction). Check out ‘Be The One’.

Carrying on the 2009 love-in vibe nothing but warm, mushy feelings for the latest offering from the PETER, BJORN AND JOHN stable. Not quite sure how to go about describing ‘Inland Empire’, it sounds like they’ve been sharing syringes with Portishead. It’s a lot darker than you’re used to from PBJ, and I like it.

If you like your House Music, and in particular if you like your Soulful Beats, defo worth checking out a tasty little cover of the Joe Smooth classic ‘Promised Land’. As is often the case with House it features about 500 different collaborators. If you enjoy this track amongst others you need to thank: PEYTON, THE COLLECTIVE (wonder how many in this?) and DJ MEME, wow those royalties won’t go far.
