JUSTICE, AXWELL and HOLLIE COOK

I love electronic music. I particularly love French electronic music (in a good way I’m not some kind of music racist) and I particularly, especially, adore anything evolving out of the studios of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay (Mr and Mr JUSTICE). I also quite like my Addidas sneakers so will allow what otherwise might be a vomit inducing commercial tie-up on Justice’s massive new track ‘Civilisation‘.

Speaking of electronic music legends, but this time north and east a bit. Sweden’s AXWELL is back with what can only be described in classic cliché terms as ‘an absolute banger’. This track just builds and builds, music-wise, energy-wise, emotion wise. ‘Heart Is King’ is huge and no doubt being crucified as we speak by a major label dying to put a cheesy vocal on it.

And now for something slightly different. A brand new artist to me HOLLIE COOK’s ‘Walking In The Sand’ is totally serene. Beautiful track to chill out to at the post Justice and Axwell after-party. I think this lass has a future.
