OUTER LIMITZ, CLEO SOUL & HAIM

Loving ‘I Kontact’ by OUTER LIMITZ, something almost ‘Kraftwerkian’ about it despite a slow bpm. It’s a track with an ‘aura’ if such a thing is possible, your totally drawn to it without understanding why, really feeling this tune.

CLEO SOUL has a very onomatopoeic artist name. ‘Never The Right Time’ could be a Destiny’s Child track at their RnB/ Soul early naughties peak, and that’s a good thing. Feel good pop music for the soul that reminds you of the days before RnB was raped and pillaged by David Getta-Esque electro beats.

The chorus on HAIM’s ‘Forever’ is not only insanely catchy but REALLY reminds of another track and I’m in that really frustrating place where I just can’t put my finger on it, it could be Simon & Garfunkel but if it is why can’t I nail down the specific track. Oh well fuck the comparisons and just enjoy the song in its own right, it deserves that.

And congratulations to myself for focusing on the music and not mentioning the hotness of the females comprising HAIM, ahh bollocks.
