ROYAL GALA, CYMBALS plus DOORLY and UTAH SAINTS

ROYAL GALA are immense live, absolutely immense. They come on stage and own it like they’re some posh Lord who’s had the stage in the family for 17 generations. And then there’s lead singer Lou’s catsuit and all-round modjo-tastic presence as engaging as any star around the world. Of the two tracks on their myspace ‘Blue Rinse’ is the one that really smashed it for me live, not sure if that totally comes across via laptop speakers though.

CYMBALS are a brand new band to me, a whole album of New Music on the way I understand, ‘Single Printed Name’ is bringing some major flotation to my boat. As to what it actually sounds like?? Well its a unique track words fail me, which is pretty inconvenient for a blogger. Just listen to it man.

No description issues with this next track, one word.. Banging! Well and maybe LARGE too. ‘What Can You Do For Me’ a mash-up Bootleg/ Remix courtesy of DOORLY and UTAH SAINTS. Reach for the club roof, pull the biggest rave loon smile and give that stranger a big hug, this is one of those kinda tracks.
